April 3, 2011 by Igor Drobot Leave a Comment

Ambilight-TV is great, why not for your home monitor?
Build your own ambilight for home PC!

What you need:
– 2 Cold light cathodes (Length: 316mm)
– 1 Inverter
– 2 Cables about 1 meter
– Solder, Soldering Iron and equipment

Cathodes are in each PC-Store or modding shop available, for example Revoltec, price: around 6€

You need not more than 20 minutes, and you get: really enjoyable work feeling in the darkness;)

Motto: DIY or die:)
