Find duplicate files by size

May 17, 2012 by Igor Drobot Leave a Comment

Find the same files by their size:

1
ls -l | awk '$1!~/^d/{if(size[$5]!=""){ print}size[$5]=$8}'

ls -l | awk '$1!~/^d/{if(size[$5]!=""){ print}size[$5]=$8}'

Very useful to delete duplicate photos or videos.
